First Aid in the Outdoors

Do you spend a lot of time in the Outdoors? Then this course could be for you.

When in the outdoors or in a remote area, one of the biggest issues we are faced with is the potential for an incident requiring medical attention. Assistance could be hours away or even unable to get to you. Would you know what to do if an ambulance just was not going to be fast enough?

Intended to develop first aid skills in an outdoor setting.  Participants will assess and treat a casualty long term in simulated incidents adapting available resources.  This can be used as a workplace compliant first aid certificate.

Who would benefit from First Aid in the Outdoors?

Anyone who spends time in the outdoors either for work or recreation.
