André Slierendrecht founded Triple One Care in 2000, the culmination of many years’ frontline medical expertise coupled with the vision to make a difference in first aid.
THE FOUNDATIONS
André’s experience in the industry is unparalleled, starting in adventurous fashion as a ski patroller in Germany’s Bavarian Alps. Returning to NZ in 1986, he continued in medical aid with St John, Auckland. From these foundations, André’s expertise has catapulted, as represented by the following achievements:

Highest Ambulance Frontline Qualification (Advanced Paramedic)

10yrs service as a pararescueman with Westpac Rescue Helicopter

Participation and management of sporting and concert events (Rallies, Opera in the Park, Eric Clapton etc.)

Appointed as Regional Training Officer for Ambulance personnel & recruits
Making the move to Nelson with a young family, André spent a further 5 years as a frontline medic. His aptitude for training, and desire to improve the first aid industry, saw him oversee the region’s Rescue Helicopter Training portfolio. André spent 15 years gaining expertise as a frontline medic.
THE BIRTH OF TRIPLE ONE
André’s wealth of industry knowledge, and desire to improve first aid helped him identify the gap in first aid care specific to pre-hospital requirements. Triple One Care is the first of its kind in First Aid, providing across-the-board industry solutions. Since its conception, André has entertained Prime Minister Helen Clark, scooped 4 awards in the Commerce Business Awards, including Best Business of the Year 2004, and has continued to receive glowing accolades from his clients for the service he and his company provide.
